Staff from Design Center of The Americas (DCOTA) have worked with City staff to develop plans for creating a general greeting and public information area replacing the work kiosk located inside City Hall. The design of this area includes a 2-sided Public Information Center that allows postings of City Hall projects / events on each wing – and provides space for a large, multi-picture t.v. display beneath a City greeting emblem. The reverse side will offer room for another t.v. display as well as two computer workstations allowing customers to access City public information such as meeting agendas, water accounts, building permit applications.
A public meeting and seating area is planned to adjoin the information center. This is comprised of two couches, two arm chairs, two end tables & lamps and a center coffee table. |
